George M. Fakes earned his Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2023. While in law school, Mr. Fakes served as the President of the First Generation Law Student Association and board member of the Mock Trial team, competing in two national competitions. He completed his JD with a Concentration in Health Law.
Mr. Fakes received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Rutgers University (New Brunswick) in 2017, where he majored in Political Science, History and English. He continued his education into the Rutgers School of Graduate Studies, earning a Master of Arts degree in Global Policy & United Nations Studies in 2019. During his graduate studies, Mr. Fakes studied abroad in Kassel, Germany at the University of Kassel.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Fakes served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Glenn C. Slavin, J.S.C., in the Middlesex County Superior Court, Family Division. Prior to joining Agrapidis & Maroules, P.C., Mr. Fakes worked at a New Jersey law firm specializing in civil defense work, where he gained experience defending local government entities in areas such as premises liability, wrongful death, Tort Claims Act, and enforcement of municipal code. Mr. Fakes is licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey and is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association.
